Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until browned and tender. Stir in garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth to deglaze pan, scraping up browned bits. Add heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce.
Simmer until slightly thickened. Return chicken to skillet.
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over chicken. Cover skillet and cook until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy.
