“The Lord makes everything beautiful in its time. ” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

Fresh asparagus sautéed with garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice, finished with parsley and a hint of red pepper. The cleanest, brightest way to dress asparagus — done in 8 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add trimmed asparagus spears and sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.

Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if using.

Serve warm and enjoy.
