Oven Maple Glazed Chicken Breasts

Chicken breasts rubbed in a smoky BBQ blend and glazed with pure maple syrup, Dijon, and apple cider vinegar, oven-baked to a sticky caramelized finish. Sweet, smoky, and made for cooler nights.

Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Homemade Smoky BBQ Rub

  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1½ tsp onion powder
  • 1½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp dry mustard powder

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with foil.

Brush chicken with olive oil. Season generously with homemade rub.

Bake uncovered for 18 to 22 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°. Whisk glaze ingredients together.

Brush glaze over chicken and return to oven for 5 minutes to caramelize. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
