Homemade Parmesan meatballs baked, tossed in warm marinara, tucked into hoagie rolls under provolone and returned to the oven until the cheese gives way.

Ingredients

  • 1ยฝ lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ยฝ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ยผ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Faith & Family โ€œThis & Thatโ€ House Seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 hoagie rolls
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 oz provolone cheese slices

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400ยฐF. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, This & That House Seasoning, and garlic.

Mix gently until combined and form into 18โ€“20 meatballs. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 18โ€“20 minutes or until cooked through.

Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan and toss the cooked meatballs in it. Place 3โ€“4 meatballs into each hoagie roll and top with provolone cheese.

Place subs on a baking sheet and bake for 3โ€“5 minutes until cheese is melted.
