Sautéed Garlic Fresh Green Beans

Fresh green beans sautéed in garlic butter with a squeeze of lemon and fresh parsley. The simple, classic side that pairs with everything from chicken to steak.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add trimmed green beans and sauté for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender-crisp.

Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper and stir well to coat.

Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice if using. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve warm and enjoy.
