Parmesan Garlic Sautéed Asparagus

Fresh asparagus sautéed with garlic and olive oil, finished with a generous shower of freshly grated Parmesan. A 10-minute side that elevates any dinner plate.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add trimmed asparagus and sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.

Remove from heat and sprinkle Parmesan over hot asparagus. Toss gently to coat.

Serve warm and enjoy.
