Marinara Cream Spinach Stuffed Shells

Jumbo pasta shells filled with spinach and a five-cheese blend, baked in a luscious marinara cream sauce until golden and bubbling. The best of red sauce and white sauce in one dish.

Ingredients

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gouda cheese
  • 1½ cups cubed Velveeta cheese
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 4 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

Prepare cheese sauce. Combine spinach, cream cheese, and Parmesan.

Fold 1 cup cheese sauce into mixture. Spread marinara in baking dish.

Stuff shells and place over sauce. Top with remaining cheese sauce.

Bake covered 25 minutes at 375°. Uncover and bake 10 minutes.
