Cocktail sausages wrapped in flaky crescent dough, drenched in butter, honey, brown sugar, and chopped pecans, then baked until sticky and caramelized. The brunch indulgence everyone fights for.
Ingredients
- 1 tube crescent rolls
- 24 cocktail weenies
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a baking dish. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles, then slice each triangle lengthwise into three equal strips.
Place one sausage at the wide end of each dough strip and roll tightly to enclose. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, chopped nuts, honey, and brown sugar until well combined.
Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Arrange sausage rolls seam-side down in the glaze, spacing evenly.
Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown and caramelized. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
