Honey Ginger Green Beans

Fresh green beans sautéed in sesame oil with garlic, soy sauce, honey, and fresh ginger, finished with sesame seeds. An Asian-inspired side ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil or olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey + 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add green beans and sauté for 6 to 8 minutes until tender-crisp.

Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, honey, and grated ginger.

Toss until beans are glossy and coated. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Serve warm and enjoy.
