Butter Garlic LeSueur Peas

A bowl of bright green peas tossed with a pat of melted butter and a few black Pepper specks.

Sweet LeSueur peas warmed in butter with fresh garlic and a sprinkle of parsley. A five-minute side that turns canned peas into something worth seconds.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans LeSueur peas, drained
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in drained peas and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until heated through. Season with salt and black pepper.

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy.
