Creamy LeSueur Peas

Sweet LeSueur peas warmed with butter, cream cheese, and a splash of heavy cream until silky and rich. A 10-minute side that turns a humble can of peas into something special.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans LeSueur peas, drained
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.

Add drained peas and gently stir to coat. Season with salt and black pepper.

Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until peas are heated through and sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve warm and enjoy.
