Chopped green cabbage slow-cooked in butter with onion, garlic, and chicken broth until silky and tender. The humble Southern side that delivers serious flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head green cabbage, chopped
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add cabbage and season. Pour in broth and cover.

Simmer 20 minutes until tender.
