“God richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.” – 1 Timothy 6:17

A side-by-side guide to Southern pulled pork made two ways — a rich, sweet classic version and a leaner take, both bursting with smoky brown sugar and paprika flavor. Perfect for game day or a slow Sunday.

Ingredients

  • 1 Boston Butt (3.5 lb)
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ tsp Cumin
  • ¼ tsp Dry Mustard
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne
  • ¼ cup Yellow Mustard

Instructions

Rub pork with yellow mustard, then coat evenly with spice mix. Slow cook in smoker or oven at 225°F for 6–8 hours, until tender.

Shred with forks and enjoy!
