A homemade yeast crust topped with marinara, mozzarella, Italian sausage, green and red peppers, and onion. Pizzeria-quality pizza night at home.
Ingredients
- Homemade pizza dough (2 ¼ tsp yeast, 1 cup warm water, 2 ½ cups flour, 1 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp olive oil)
- ½ cup homemade marinara sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ lb Italian sausage, cooked and sliced
- ½ cup sliced green bell peppers
- ½ cup sliced red bell peppers
- ¼ cup sliced yellow onion
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
Prepare homemade dough and allow to rise for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 475°F.
Roll dough into a 12-inch circle and place on pan. Spread marinara evenly across dough.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly. Layer sausage, peppers, and onion.
Season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Bake 12–15 minutes
